One family is more than a place - it is an attitude, a way of looking at birth as a natural, normal, healthy and uniquely personal event that is meant to be celebrated among family and friends. We believe that babies are sacred and should be held and related to with gentleness and love. We give each woman adequate time for quality care with dignity and respect. Family preferences and needs are considered and active participation in care and decision making is encouraged. Whether you choose to birth in our Birth Center or your home, we provide positive support to assist you in maintaining a healthy pregnancy, welcoming your new baby into the world gently, with the least amount of intervention possible, and of course ...With Love.One Family, LLC. became the first freestanding birth center licensed by the State of Alaska on January 8th, 2008. One Family caters to clients from the Anchorage, Girdwood, Mat-Su and Rural Alaska areas, One Family is dedicated to serving low risk women with the midwifery model of care, empowering women and families to birth naturally and allowing for women to have the birth they want.

The birth center offers a comfortable, relaxed setting for healthy, low risk women to labor and give birth naturally. We have two birth rooms; both have a private bath, shower and built in birthing tub. There is plenty of room for freedom of movement. Our living room provides a home-like waiting room for family and friends, with a children's area, kitchen and video.
We accept Insurance, Denali Kid Care(Medicaid) and credit cards.
